A Long Winter Wedding

The couple, who interact as co-founders of the East London Eyewear brand, exchanged vows on 23rd November 2019, in the exquisite.

This was among those effortlessly glamorous wedding days filled with elegant touches and something head-turner in the high-collar gown.

"I saw an outfit on the runway about eight years back and it had been a high neck, long-sleeved ivory lace long gown and I stored that image I believe in the 'dream wedding dress' folder."

"I love my dress so a lot, I feel so special when I'm putting it on – I am worried that after I use it that it wouldn't look right or I wouldn't have that feeling that individuals talk about understanding that it's the one."

"Jake and I met on Brick Lane in Shoreditch, London, seven along with a half years back – within the Brick Lane Vintage Market. We both were built with a stall there and became close friends pretty much immediately."

"A few years later, we became a couple, and four along with a half years later still, on 18th December 2018, Jake proposed in my experience at home with his late Grandma Paulines Diamond ring. His Grandma was watching over us from the picture frame around the windowsill alongside where Jake inquired about marrying him."

"We started searching for venues immediately as we both have grandparents that aren't in good health and it had been very vital that they are a part of our wedding. So we married 10 months later and our grandparents have there been to witness it – which meant the planet to us."

"We chose traditional white gold court rings – I was built with a smaller thickness to Jake as I enjoy stacking my rings daily and love having the ability to customize my wedding band finger, adding other bands to my wedding band when I'm not wearing my diamond engagement ring. We bought our rings from a completely independent jeweler in Hatton Garden." Click

"Our maid of honor read 'A walled garden' and Jake and I browse the 'Eskimo Love Song'. The groomsmen closed the ceremony with 'An Apache Wedding Blessing."

"Tanya's bridesmaids wore dusty blue bridesmaid dresses."

"My bridesmaid's dresses were a mixture of vintage, designer, and high street. I wanted each bridesmaid to embrace her very own style and also to feel like themselves and encouraged these phones to choose a mixture of fabrics, lengths, and textures."

"We had exercised what this cost could be per guest and floated the concept to family and friends before viewing and booking the home to make sure everybody was comfortable with the price."

"I checked the supermarkets for drink offers constantly and took advantage of the 25% off for 5 or even more bottles that many supermarkets did before the Christmas period. We also exposed a Costco account and bought a great deal the wine and spirits from there once we could return anything unopened and never drank."

"We also saved costs by hiring sound equipment and asking friends that may DJ to complete a 1-hour DJ set – this included Jake and me, who did a wedding couple set, that was my second favorite moment from the day!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't spend a lot of time looking at other bands' weddings as you may get so distracted by what they're doing that you simply lose tabs on what will result in the two individuals being the happiest around the day. Always remember that most people are there to celebrate your happiness and marriage plus they aren't scrutinizing what is on the plate or the number of flowers around the tables."
