Young earns a maximum contract extension ahead of the fourth and final season of his rookie scale deal that he signed in 2018 upon being selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft Kevin Huerter Jersey.Young was an All-Star in his second season, and arguably should have been this past season as well. The Hawks got out to a sluggish start as a team, and that may have cost him a spot in the game, which was hosted in Atlanta.Young will need to make All-NBA this upcoming season to convert his extension to the $207 million super max.
