Blizzard has released a buy Diablo 4 gold story launch trailer, which is viewable below.

Set half a century after Diablo 3’s Reaper of Souls expansion, Diablo 4 sees Sanctuary’s creators, the angel Inarius and demon Lilith, “fighting one another with a humanity his or her battleground”, says associate writer Eden Trujillo.

“Sanctuary never was meant for humankind. It was forged like a refuge in the war between your High Heavens and also the Burning Hells,” based on the game’s opening cinematic. “Instead, it became a new battleground within this Eternal Conflict.

Diablo 4 is going to be released on June 6 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4, with cross-play and cross-progression for those platforms.

However, players who buy the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions are going to be able to listen to it from June 1 at 4 pm PST / 7 pm EST (June 2 at 12 am BST).

Blizzard held your final Diablo 4 open beta weekend from May 12-14, giving players use of the Prologue, the entirety of Act I, and also the first Zone, and allowing them to build a character up to and including Level 20 cap.

It also recently shed more light on Diablo 4’s post-launch content, specifically its Seasons, Battle Pass, and Shop content.
