Read on for any bride in gold sequins and lobster embroidered mules, bridesmaids in luscious gold bridesmaid dresses, a groom having a gold bow tie, and all sorts of the wonderful colors of autumn, with a lot of Halloween inspiration.

This may be the wedding of a garment technologist and her love, who's a lecturer. They were married around 2 November 2019 in Peckham, then a reception in the lovely, and first met via Tinder. They became engaged along with a mountain in Lapland and held their wedding almost exactly annually later.

I adore that Rose and Matt embraced the color and drama of the year, and Rose's dress, which she designed along with was a complete showstopper. What incredible craft from Margo – a slinky gold sequinned gown with contrasting floral embroidery and embellishment around the cuffs and the waist.

"I always knew I didn't wish to wear any type of white dress, and I thought just when was there the opportunity to wear an incredible sparkly ballgown otherwise on your big day?! I wanted to appear different, and ultimately I wanted to appear a bit like a mermaid, which I think I achieved!"

"I love autumnal colors, and when I'd opted for a gold dress, this just appeared to make anything else fit. I've always celebrated Halloween, which just appeared like a fun thing to include in our wedding."

The former altar from the Asylum Chapel was covered in softly flickering pillar candles, there were festoon lights strung over the beautiful old walls.

There were also lovely floral arrangements from Rose and Matt's local florists, who also made a wonderful autumnal-inspired bouquet for Rose. Here

Rose's auburn locks were styled by, and her make-up was by. In her hair, Rose wore a hair vine she made herself using offcuts from the floral trims from her dress, along with extra beads and pearls from the shop in North London. Margo Stankova also designed a lovely, ethereal veil, too.

"The veil was a lot more traditional than my dressmaking me feel a lot more bridal. I wasn't thinking about wearing one, but the moment I tried one on I just needed one, they create you feel amazing!"

"I wanted burnt orange velvet dresses for my bridesmaids, which have been hard to locate, but I got them from FeelTimes and am pleased with them."

Rose asked that every bridesmaid wore a faux fur jacket or coat, they wore their very own shoes, and Rose also made them hairpins using more offcuts from her dress.

"The flower girls' dresses were mostly handmade by my Mum and were worn with glittery high tops from Boden. My sister and bridesmaids crafted their flower crowns the night time before the wedding, which they all loved wearing."

"I made Matt's bow tie from leftover fabric from my dress, and also the Best Man's bow tie from leftover fabric in the bridesmaids' dresses. I'd never designed a bow tie before and loved the way they turned out!"

"Matt wore a waistcoat and trousers, along with a velvet jacket we bought at Camden Market."

"We only checked out photographers who had experience from the Asylum Chapel, since it is such a unique venue. We also didn't want to stage photos, so picked Mark Wallis because being a documentary-style photographer means he doesn't like them much either!"

"Mark was great around the day. He spent all day long with us through the dancing and got photos of everyone. We're so happy using the photos we now have, they're so natural plus they capture our genuine happiness around the day. We would certainly recommend Mark with other couples."
