Rodgers is blaming Tampa Bay turf for injury

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers blamed the surface in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay for the calf strain which he suffered during the playoffs. Rodgers stated that there are some "couple surfaces which are more likely to cause injury rather than prevent it," according to Madden NFL 23.com. "There's certain ones I believe need to be considered Mut 23 coins. Tampa could be one due to the amount of playing, I believe, that takes place there."

Rodgers along with the Packers took on against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 21 just prior to the beginning of the Madden NFL 23 Playoffs. Tampa Sports Authority, which runs the stadium, stated that they were in compliance with Madden NFL's regulations.

Harrison was undergoing offseason surgery.

Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith had an operation on the left side of his hand during the offseason as reported by Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune. It's not clear what the procedure was however it was likely to have something to do with be related to the ring and pinky fingers on his left hand. Smith described the procedure as minorand is expected to be without a splint for the near future. This will not hinder him from participating in the offseason.
