Diablo 2: Summon Druid Guide

Summon Druid may be the ultimate zookeeper! The legions of hell don't stand an opportunity against his animal army

Summon Druid may be the ultimate zookeeper! The legions of hell don't stand an opportunity against his animal army. Regular monsters, Elites, Bosses, as well as Uber Bosses are quickly overwhelmed by savage pecking, biting, tearing, and mauling. This Druid brings the entire fury of nature to "bear"...tooth, claw, and all sorts of!

The Summon Druid has turned into a viable option having the ability to summon all his pets at the same time. These pets include 1 Summon Grizzly, 3 Summon Dire Wolf, 5 Summon Spirit Wolf, and 5 Ravens. Heart of Wolverine is the one other summon providing you with a Damage and Attack Rating boost for the Wolves ( Summon Dire Wolf and Summon Spirit Wolf) and Summon Grizzly. Beast further boosts your zoo's Attack Rating, Attack Speed, and Physical Damage.

There are lots of ways to play a Summon Druid. You can relax and let your pets do all the work, aggressively Teleport on top of your foes “Telestomping” them, as well as shapeshift right into a Werebear and employ Shock Wave to manage the battlefield. This build is very beginner friendly, and may reliably enable you to get through the game with minimal gear. Now go forth and command your beasts to victory!

Setup

The Starter variant from the Summon Druid meets the minimum gear requirements for farming the Starter-tagged areas within the "Farming Spots" section above. These areas could be Solo-farmed with this setup (/Players1 on Single Player) both in Nightmare and Hell difficulty. Prioritize + to Skills, Resistances, Faster Cast Rate, Magic Find, and Life/Attributes in your gear. A Teleport Charge Staff on Weapon-Swap enables you to reposition your Pets, dealing maximum DPS to targets. Follow the Druid Leveling Guide to get a Druid to Level 75.

Mercenary

The Starter Summon Druid employs an Act 2 Might Mercenary for increased Physical Damage in your Summons. Equip him with Insight for high Mana Regeneration. Hustle is another great selection for its Level 1 Fanaticism Aura. Mercenaries require Resistance, Life Leech, and/or Damage Reduction to remain alive. Smoke is a cheap Body Armor selection for resistance, while Bulwark may be the cheapest Helmet providing you with Life Leech and Damage Reduction.

Skills

Put 1 Point into Werebear, Shock Wave, and Lycanthropy before maxing Summon Spirit Wolf and Heart of Wolverine. Also, don't bother with Carrion Vine on the Starter Summon Druid. The rest may be the same as the Standard Build.
